The Knit, 1998

coming soon

I moved to New York City in September 1997 with only $300 in my pocket and the basement of a friend's business to call a very temporary home.

The money was gone in two days and a nosy neighbor cut my basement dwelling days short. It was highly illegal to live in the basement of a business, to be fair.

But thanks to the Village Voice, John Zorn and a guy named Andy Hurwitz, I was hired as the Creative Director for KnitMedia, the newly formed and newly vested umbrella company for The Knitting Factory club, record labels and festivals.

More coming soon...
